On March 29th, the students of our joint study program Global Business PAC have been welcomed at JKU Linz. Despite facing challenges and insecurities due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the 14 students, among them 7 JKU students, could already spend an exciting trimester at the University of Victoria in Canada – one of the most prestigious universities in North America. Now, they started their Austrian term online with all but three students moving to Austria physically. Given the current circumstances, the opening ceremony had to take place online. Nonetheless, the students have been given a warm welcome and could get some first insights into Austrian culture and peculiarities thanks to a quiz organized by our Global Business team. In the next few months, the Global Business PAC students will learn about diverse topics related to international business and the European business context. We wish the students all the best and many unforgettable experiences in Austria.
