Teemu Kautonen research fellow at the IFI JKU team

During his research fellowship at the IFI JKU in summer 2015 the Aalto University professor Teemu Kautonen contributed to the research activities at the IFI in various ways. Besides a workshop on Stata, an international bid for the FWF on trust in bank lending was revised for resubmission. Additionally, several manuscripts were further developed. Good news was received during the research visit further enhancing the motivation of the team: A manuscript on innovation in family firms authored by Isabella Hatak, Teemu Kautonen, Matthias Fink and Juha Kansikas was accepted for publication in the renowned journal Technological Forecasting and Social Change.

Teemu was further involved in the OeNB-funded IFI project on the characteristics, scope and socio-economic contributions of mature innovators. Also a new research initiative on the role of trust in hierarchical inter-firm relationships was started together with IFI researcher Danilea Maresch and ASA professor Ewald Aschauer.

On level of the school of social science Teemu Kautonen and the JKU dean, Johann Bacher, discussed possibilities for enhanced cooperation. A further research visit of Teemu Kautonen in the near future was agreed upon.
