Over the past few months, the Global Business ACT students had the opportunity to gain valuable experiences during the second leg of their international journey: Taiwan. Living and studying in Taiwan, students learned to embrace a different approach to academia, explored stunning landscapes, and immersed themselves in a vibrant culture rich with diverse cuisine and unique local traditions. Despite initial challenges, such as language barriers and adapting to new living conditions, the ACT students made most of their time in Taiwan by integrating academic rigor with cultural exploration, enriching both their personal and professional growth.
In addition to experiencing daily and academic life, the international cohort gained deeper insights into the Taiwanese business landscape by collaborating on a real-life consulting project with BXB Electronics. Taking on the role of business consultants, the students were challenged to combine their vast theoretical knowledge with BXB’s cutting-edge technology to bring new, innovative ideas and solutions to life. Equipped with an enhanced cross-cultural understanding and a renewed sense of resilience and adaptability, the students are now moving on to Linz, Austria, where new, enriching experiences await them.
