A fact that is reflected in high citation rates of studies published in the most important management journals such as Academy of Management Journals, Journal of Management, Journal of Management Studies and Journals of Business Venturing and excellent international careers of young scholars emerging from the Management Institutes at JKU, now also has been acknowledged in media: JKU is place of excellence in management research and education. The group of four, who have recently been covered in Austrian and regional media are only examples of a strong group of management scholars at JKU. Rektor Lukas explains: “Actually, management research at JKU is damned good and we are not afraid anymore to clearly communicate this fact to the public!”. Especially, the team’s broad research focus substantially feeds high impact research and teaching into JKU’s three focus areas digitalization, sustainability and transformation in the realm of finance.
