    PD Dr. Rainer Harms

    Rainer Harms is an Associate Professor at ETM (Entrepreneurship and Technology Management), University of Twente. Before this position, he was an Assistant Professor at the Department of Innovation Management and Entrepreneurship, University of Klagenfurt, Austria (Habilitation), and a Researcher at the WWU Münster, Germany (Doctorate). In addition, Rainer was Visiting Professor at the Vienna University of Economics and Business (Wirtschaftsuniversität Wien), Klagenfurt University, and Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona.

    His research interests are (international) entrepreneurship, corporate entrepreneurship, and firm growth.

    He cooperates with several national and international ventures in various industries on business development issues. For example, he has worked with Entrepreneur of the Year e.V. Germany, for over a decade on rapid-growth firms.

    Rainer has published more than 70 articles in journals such as Organizational Research Methods, Journal of Smal Business Management, Journal of Business Ethics, and others. In addition, Rainer is Associate Editor of Journal of Small Business Management.
