The second company visit was to voestalpine in Linz. The ACT students were able to learn more about voestalpine during an exciting presentation and, after lunch in the company cafeteria, visit the Stahlwelt. The steel production from iron ore to stainless steel was explained to the students and they were shown the blast furnace and the rolling mills during a short trip around the company premises.
