IFI congratulates Richard Lang on Habilitation!

IFI researcher and deputy head of the Institute of Innovation Management Richard Lang has successfully defended his cumulative Habilitation entitled “Embedded Enterprise” earlier this week. The work links embeddedness of ventures to the vivid discourses on socio-technical transformation of rural regions and urban social sustainability. This event stands as a spectacular endpoint of a journey that also took him to the University of Birmingham for two years. The research underpinning his Habilitation was financed by two prestigious fellowships granted by the European Union (Marie Curie framework) and the Austrian Academy of Sciences (APART-Programme). The articles included in his Habilitation were published in high-ranking journals such as International Small Business Journal, Technological Forecasting and Social Change and Voluntas.
