Mag. Herwig Schinnerl-Leitner

Herwig Schinnerl-Leitner is managing the back office of the Institute of Innovation Management (IFI) at the Johannes Kepler University Linz.
Herwig holds a Magister degree in Social and Cultural Anthropology from the University of Vienna with specializations in Gender Studies, Migration and Slavic Studies. He has gained professional experience in the fields of refugee aid, integration and human rights while working at Volkshilfe, Diakonie, Caritas, Red Cross as well as NGOs in Belgium and Spain.

Herwig is co-editor of a book about Chechnya and Chechen refugees in Austria and co-author of a survey about Romanies in Lower Austria. Furthermore, he published several articles on integration, human rights and migration in anthologies.
