IFI researches Matthias Fink and Michael Gusenbauer received a Best-Paper Award “Innovation Management” that honours outstanding scientific papers on innovation, transformation and technology management that present both cutting-edge research and high practical relevance. Their Journal of Management Studies paper “Innovation Offshoring, Institutional Context and Innovation Performance: A Meta-Analysis” was co-authored by Nina Rosenbusch, Isabella Hatak and Klaus Meyer. It investigates the conditions under which innovation offshoring is especially beneficial for firms around the globe. The two-day event was hosted by EBS Universität für Wirtschaft und Recht where the finalists had the chance to discuss among bright thinkers from academia and business. The highlight of the event was the award ceremony among invited guests from practice and policy in the historical Sektkellerei Henkell in Wiesbaden. We highly appreciate the opportunity to put our research in the spot light and for the visibility the award generates. Congratulations also to the other award winners Alexander Brem (3rd rank), Dries Faems and Holmer Kok (1st rank). Please find the award-winning paper here
